Errors caused by software bugs
Software updates are released whenever software bugs in current versions of our software have been fixed. Details of software updates that include bug fixes are posted on this web site in the Bug Fix Update History section.
Errors that are caused by external software or hardware problems
Most error messages that are displayed in Lynx Software products are due to software or hardware problems that are external to the Lynx Software product. Some examples of such problems are listed below:
- Insufficient space on a hard disk drive
- Incorrect configuration of ECR/POS terminals
- Limited user access permissions preventing access to required resources
